What a great week we had!

What a great week we had staying at Woodridge in Metung!
It’s a perfect home away from home for families, the hosts Athena & Paul really have thought of everything.
Their communication prior to our arrival was spot on, check in very easy and all the thoughtful features throughout the house were great.

We’ll definitely be back! 🙂

Paul and Athena’s place is lovely. I am a host so I know how difficult it is to keep a property clean and free of damage when you have others coming in and constantly mistreating it, and theirs was immaculate. One thing that really stood out to me is that they have furnished the property with quality items, spared no expense on the furniture and quality of the decor. Place was very clean and the property overall well maintained. Area was quiet, and great value but we did go in the off season. We had a fabulous trip, these hosts deserve six stars.

Property is on a no-through road, your privacy is at its best. You can enjoy the beautiful Metung township without a car, close to every major restaurant and cafe in the town. Lake Entrance is only 18 mins away in a car.
Paul is very proactive and the instructions he sent us pretty much explained everything that we could’ve expected from a superhost.

Really nice, well appointed place with easy access (walking for people of basic fitness or driving) to Metung’s centre and also the lakefront. Good spot to stay to visit the hot springs, absolutely fantastic location for birdwatching, just lovely!
The bedrooms were spacious, the living room very comfortable, kitchen practical, and the check-in and check-out process convenient.

Ultimate comfort and relaxation.

This house has been beautifully renovated and set up absolutely perfectly for a family, 2-3 couples or a group of friends to stay. We appreciated all the attention to detail, quality appliances (eg great coffee pod machine), use of pantry basics (oil, salt and pepper, glad wrap etc), new furniture, pretty festoon lights over the back deck, wifi, Netflix, and best of all a short walk (5-10 mins) into town. The hot springs is just around the corner too. We couldn’t fault the house and had such a great time – thanks for having us Athena and Paul!

Great Place To Stay

As soon as you walk in you feel as though you are at home it has such a lovely feeling,
Spotlessly clean and everything that you need for your stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. Definitely a lot of thought has been put In to the decor it’s so attractive.
It’s situated in a quiet area but only a twenty minute walk into town,
I would definitely recommend to family and friends and look forward to staying again,

We had a wonderful stay in Paul’s home. It was a lovely home in beautiful surroundings. We could tell a lot of thought went into making it cosy so we felt right at home. It appears that his home was recently renovated so everything looks new and clean. The kitchen was also well stocked. Paul was a great host and proactive into making sure that we would have a smooth check in and comfortable stay. He even went out of his way to post items that we had left behind, which we are very grateful for! I highly recommend staying in Paul’s place!

Really nice place on a quiet street, just a 15-minute walk to cafes and restaurants. The house is cosy and has a very good kitchen with all the pots, pans, and spices you need for cooking. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Such a lovely spot, and a short 20min walk into centre of Metung. Paul and Athena’s place was perfect, cosy and well thought out. Great spot and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
